ConsoleBridge Privacy Policy
Effective 11 September 2026 · Ineapple Corp · support@ineapple.com
ConsoleBridge is an Android app and a companion web service (consolebridge.agiroam.com) made by Ineapple Corp. The app connects a USB serial console cable plugged into your phone to a terminal in a web browser, through a relay that Ineapple operates. This policy explains what data moves through that system and what we keep.
What the app does with data
The app does not ask you to create an account and does not collect your name, email address, contacts, location, photos, or advertising identifiers. It needs the network to reach the relay and USB access to talk to the cable. Nothing is read from the phone beyond that.
Data that passes through the relay
| Data | Purpose | Stored? |
|---|---|---|
| Console traffic (the bytes exchanged with the device on the serial cable) | Forwarded between the phone and the browser that entered the session code | No. Relayed in memory only and never written to disk or logs. |
| Session code and session timestamps (created, paired, ended) | Pairing a browser with a phone, and operating the service | Yes, in a database for up to 90 days, then deleted. |
| Serial device name and baud rate | Shown to the paired browser as connection status | Only while the session is live. |
| Country and browser type of a connecting browser (derived from the connection, not GPS) | Shown on the phone so the user can approve or deny the browser | No. |
| Standard web server logs (IP address, request path, timestamp) | Security and troubleshooting of the relay | Kept by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, for a short retention window. |
Encryption
All traffic between the app, the relay, and the browser uses TLS. Console traffic is decrypted at the relay only to forward it to the other side of the same session; it is not inspected or retained.
Sharing
We do not sell data and do not share it with advertisers or analytics providers. The relay runs on Cloudflare infrastructure, which processes traffic on our behalf under its own privacy terms. We disclose data only if required by law.
Your responsibilities
Anyone who enters a valid session code, and is approved on the phone, gets full access to whatever device is on the cable. Treat codes like passwords, keep "Auto-approve browsers" off when working on sensitive equipment, and end sessions when you are done.
Children
ConsoleBridge is a tool for network professionals and is not directed at children under 13.
